INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

Individual therapy with me is a relaxed, supportive space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. My approach is conversational and low-pressure, and we go at a pace that feels manageable for you. Once you feel comfortable, we start to unpack what’s underneath the stress, anxiety, friendship issues, or overwhelm, and build practical tools that genuinely help.

Sessions can be accessed privately, through Medicare, or NDIS funding under Capacity Building: Improved Daily Living.

PARENTING SESSIONS

Parenting sessions are a space to understand what’s happening for your child and to learn practical, supportive ways to respond with confidence and clarity. Together, we explore what may be driving the behaviour, including anxiety, sensory overwhelm, executive functioning differences, burnout, communication challenges, or unmet needs. We then consider how to respond in ways that reduce stress, support regulation, and strengthen connection at home.

Neuro-spicy thrives here
  • Understanding how your neurodivergent brain processes information, emotions, and sensory input.

  • Sensory sensitivities, sensory seeking, and the impact of overload.

  • Masking, burnout, shutdowns, and the cost of holding it together for too long.

  • Noticing patterns in attention, motivation, time awareness, and executive functioning.

  • Understanding hyperfocus, distractibility, restlessness, and the “all‑or‑nothing” energy cycle.

  • Identifying the environments, routines, and supports that help your brain thrive.

  • Mapping out your natural rhythms: how you focus, how you recover, and what helps you regulate.

  • Reframing “avoidance,” “non‑compliance,” or “procrastination” as nervous‑system responses, not character flaws.

  • Anxiety that comes from unpredictability, sensory overwhelm, or social pressure.

  • Low mood linked to burnout, masking, or chronic misunderstanding.

  • Building self‑compassion by understanding the why behind your reactions.

  • Supporting autonomy, boundaries, and the need for clarity and predictability.

  • Helping you (or your parent) understand what’s happening beneath the behaviour.
