INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGY SERVICES (11).png

AGE RANGE: 6 - 45 YEARS (approx)

Here, we slow things down and make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface: the anxiety spikes, the shutdowns, the “I don’t know why I reacted like that,” the sensory overload, the procrastination spirals, the "why can't I just stay on task", the hidden shame and guilt, the people‑pleasing, the identity questions, and the moments where everything feels too much.

This is a space where you don’t have to mask, minimise, or explain yourself. Just show up as you are and we’ll figure the rest out together.

Sessions with little ones usually involve them proudly showing me their latest creations and masterpieces, their favourite toys, and introducing me to all their beloved pets. We play, we chat, we laugh, we negotiate, and we learn.

Sessions with teens and adults usually start with you helping me to understand your world: the patterns you learned early on that once helped you cope but might not be serving you anymore. And then we work to build new, more supportive ways of managing life.

PARENTING SESSIONS

FOR PARENTS OF TODDLERS, CHILDREN, TEENS & YOUNG ADULTS

In parenting sessions, we zoom out and look at the whole ecosystem around your child — the patterns, the meltdowns, the endless "NO!", the "I'm not eating that", the school mornings that unravel, the after‑school crashes, your “I don’t know what else to try” moments, and the quiet worries you carry when no one’s watching.

We make sense of what’s driving the behaviour, what your child is communicating, and what actually helps them feel safe enough to settle.

This is a space where you can put the books down, drop the ten different opinions from family and friends (and the endless saved TikToks), and talk honestly about what’s happening at home. No judgement, no performance, no need to have the perfect script. Just clarity, support, and strategies that fit your real life.

You join however you can: from the car before pickup, from the couch while someone naps, from your office between meetings.

Parent sessions can be accessed privately, through Medicare, or your child's NDIS funding.

Neuro-spicy thrives here
  • Understanding how your neurodivergent brain processes information, emotions, and sensory input.

  • Sensory sensitivities, sensory seeking, and the impact of overload.

  • Masking, burnout, shutdowns, and the cost of holding it together for too long.

  • Noticing patterns in attention, motivation, time awareness, and executive functioning.

  • Understanding hyperfocus, distractibility, restlessness, and the “all‑or‑nothing” energy cycle.

  • Identifying the environments, routines, and supports that help your brain thrive.

  • Mapping out your natural rhythms: how you focus, how you recover, and what helps you regulate.

  • Reframing “avoidance,” “non‑compliance,” or “procrastination” as nervous‑system responses, not character flaws.

  • Anxiety that comes from unpredictability, sensory overwhelm, or social pressure.

  • Low mood linked to burnout, masking, or chronic misunderstanding.

  • Building self‑compassion by understanding the why behind your reactions.

  • Supporting autonomy, boundaries, and the need for clarity and predictability.

  • Helping you (or your parent) understand what’s happening beneath the behaviour.
